Special note
This is a mandatory challenge. You must submit your code in order to take part in the Pi Wars competition day.
Aim of the challenge
Your code will judged on the following criteria, as well as other "mystery" criteria:
- structure of code
- code re-use
- use of appropriate variable and function names
- clearly commented code
- efficiency of code
All code must be submitted on or before 12 noon on 14th November. Submission can be in the form of a zip archive of all the files you have created or a link to a Github repository.
Points
The judge will determine a score between 1 and 30 for the quality of your code.
Is there an example of completely unrelated but good code that you can point us to so that we can understand what is being looked for?
The code for my entry last year is available from https://github.com/LeoWhite/BiggerTrak if you wanted to take a look at it. I got joint third, so obviously it needs improving on a little (I have tweaked it a little since then)
The winner of last years challenge submitted their code via GitHub which a quick search gives me https://github.com/ukBaz/roBar
I know you ask for code on github – but I hope bitbucket is also OK? Ours is at https://bitbucket.org/elmorobogo/elmorobogo
Yep, that’s absolutely fine 🙂
