If you enter a zone out of order, then get the other ones in order and get it a second time in the right place, do you still get it? (I’m thinking a robot which runs round the edge until it gets all zones)

You have to enter each corner in order. If you visit the other corners in between, they don’t count. You’d be wasting time.

    We’re confused by this paragraph:

If a zone is entered out-of-sequence, it is just ignored – there is no penalty for entering zones out of sequence. However, if a zone is entered out of sequence, it is not deemed to have officially ‘visited’ the zone for the purposes of that run. For example: you enter Red, you enter Yellow but then you enter Green. Green does not count because you have not entered Blue yet. Subsequently, you enter Blue and enter Red again, which is permissible but you do need to enter Green again because you entered it out of sequence.

    Isn’t the order R – B – Y – G ?

So in the quoted example (R -Y -G) why does yellow count even though is is out of sequence but green doesn’t?

Also the end of the final sentence:

but you do need to enter Green again because you entered it out of sequence

    seems to contradict:

if a zone is entered out of sequence, it is not deemed to have officially ‘visited’
